Buon Giorno! Principessa Jayde!

Avere sapore la pigrizia del pomeriggio savour..

Try the Cliffhouse hopping!

From Café Breton to Buon Giorno! And back:)

Yes, I can’t eat all the furniture and coffee table and those uber-pretty lamp shades at Domicillo but there’s Fire Lake Grill, Fruits in Ice Cream( they replaced Papa Vinz Pastry shop ) and Platito to spend my lazy Monday afternoons. Hmm where's my next stop?I've been eyeing the banana-split at FIC bwahaha.

To my disappointment, some freakin’ people are at the Opium bed!!! Grrrr!! na naman ah! Naiinis na ko hmmmp. Here’s the prime spot that’s earning Buon Giorno! It’s thousand fork’s up points (at least to me hehe)

this photo from the net

Fine. After nibbling on some Ciabatta bread++++vinaigrette dressing+++parmesan cheese, ahh here’s our New York Pizza

Mixture of beef and pork, crunchy yellow bell pepper, the works.

Al Margherita
at least i get my dose of veggies on this one, the tomatillo's (hehe) neatly tucked in hefty servings of parmesan cheese and i love the taste of the herbs, ahh i can speak italian now hehe

Penne all Arrabiata

i'm a huge fan of penne pasta, so bacon and the spicy tomato sauce? gastro delight:)

Pescatore alla puttanesca

...but i'm never a seafood++pasta lover, ever. so i never tried this one.

A great way to end every meal? Coolers. Frappes. Shakes. And a loud burP!!

Kuya Jayps with his Oreo Choco Shake something..

Lo Jay and Mamita sharing the house's Green Mango treat..how sweet:))

And Caramel frappe for me.. so 80's

Find your own lazy day.

Don't mind the oldies at the next table exchanging stories about their amigas..

Small or XS? They're the same bikini top. YOU are flat-chested. Just wear a sun dress to hide them. Smile at all times. Divert. Divert. Divert.

Put your heart where you can see it. Paint it red.

XOXOXO

The Darjeeling Limited

Its official: I’m a film buff wannabe hehe. After hoarding dozens of shoes, tons of clothes and eating gazillion sweets and junk, I’ve never realized that I have another love..film. (ahhh pang blog na pang blog ahh hehe)

From the distorted lives of the Tenenbaums in ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’..

To the journeys of Bill Murray’s character in ‘Life aquatic with Steve Zissou’..

Jason Schwartzman’s ( yes he’s the vocalist of Phantom Planet.. the song? Ahh the ever famous the O.C opener ‘California, California here we come’) ala ‘Election’ alter-ego in ‘Rushmore’..

..i was in great awe, I never thought I’ve watched so many Wes Anderson film( yah it’s only three, but I got to see the Squid and the Whale..umm which he co-produced duhh hehe do I sound like Blair already??:)) until I got reunited with him :P through his latest creation, ‘The Darjeeling Limited’. it’s a dead ringer already if you see Bill Murray, either of the Wilson brothers, Jason Schwartzman and Anjelica Houston, it must be by Wes Anderson, and it must be good: ))

It starts off with a short film entitled ‘Hotel Chevalier’. Jason Schwartzman’s character before leaving for India is meeting up with ex-girlfriend played by Natalie Portman.. ahhh the joys of brief and bitter encounters..

Come ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, a spiritual journey of the Whitman brothers, played by Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman. A passing I think, from all their heartaches and disappointments, from their lives to their families to themselves. Regain trust from each other and just take life as is it, no hung ups and pretensions. Set in the heart of India, this film takes you in a roller umm train ride? Indian-style. It’s a great feeling watching any Anderson picture. There’s already a hint of melancholy and seriousness yet it will never fail to make you laugh and fall in love with the characters that he’s made. I’m especially fond of Peter. He’s tragic, but he still loves..and maybe because he’s the youngest of the three, like me (palaging inuutusan hehe). I love them three, they’re all well-learned and yet they’re all practically flawed, and crazy, and always high hehe. Whoohooo!!

It is a road-trip of some sorts but in the most poignant and funny way. It’s not your usual dialogue infested flick, there’s a lot of beautiful silences, that’s the good part really, and you just have to sense it by yourself.

…you don’t need a bindi or India to reflect. Just throw your excess baggage.

One day at a time.

Don’t get too high on cough syrup.

Never ever buy a snake, or keep one (literally and figuratively hehe).

Eat ice cream and french fries if you're unhappy.

Go ahead put bindi if you're feeling it man.

P.S.

Try to see any of Wes Anderson's films ok?

je dois rêver (i must be dreaming)

"Uno, dos, tres, cuatro!
Hi, and welcome back to another episode of "Télévision Educative". Tonight, I'll show you how dreams are prepared. People think it's a very simple and easy process but it's a bit more complicated than that. As you can see, a very delicate combination of complex ingredients is the key. First, we put in some random thoughts. And then, we add a little bit of reminiscences of the day... mixed with some memories from the past.

That's for two people. Love, friendships, relationships... and all those "ships", together with songs you heard during the day, things you saw, and also, uh... personal... Okay, I think it's one."

If only...you can just whip up and concoct what you want to happen in you life. That why we dream, it's a reminder of what we want to do..and sometimes what we don't want to happen at all. I was wide awake when I watched Michael Gondry's 'The Science of Sleep', but it sent me to a whole new dimension.. (Twilight Zone theme comes in..hehe) the approach is whimsical, bold and raw. the visuals are very creative and fantasy-like, much like a version of a great dream, only weirder..
and well-scripted
..and in french and spanish
..and has subtitles:))

...and Gael is on it!
what a feast!

the film takes you along the life and mishaps of Stephane, a struggling artist trapped in a 9-5 job, while wooing her mother's tenant named Stephanie. As a young boy having troubles separating what's his dreams are from reality, you will get quite entangled on what's real and what's not..ahhh "distraction is an obstruction for the construction'!!! an unconventional love story, a beautiful exchange of witty lines, it's seemingly child-like but intelligent at the same time.it wasn't the film that i expected to see, but coming from the director of 'the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind', i sure know i'll be on a crazy-pony ride!

PS PS PS PS PS:

FACT: I've had 3, yes t-h-r-e-e trips to 3 different hair cutters this week, and ended up with an ala Greta-do (kinda, make it grow a li'l more) i was aiming for a Heart-ish bob just like in the June 2007 issue of marieclaire.huhuhuhu. how come they can't follow simple directions man!! what a 'mane' event. tsk tsk

FACT: i can be fickle, i see. hehe

PS PS PS PS ll:

'fermez vos yeux et ouvrez votre coeur'

means

'close your eyes and open your heart'

apprécient! and have a great weekend!!!
