very hedonistic of us, but we went swimming the morning after typhoon santi! reasons:

• my cousins are leaving already. this was a planned trip, so blame santi.
• no ELECTRICITY. the pool's a perfect place to get rid of unwanted anything.
• still no electricity.

so there we were, all thirty of us, in the blistering cold+rain+chlorinated water savoring the joys of bathing in glacier-like weather. sneezes,purple hands and hot cups of coffee later, i think we're okay. though most of us didn't get enough sleep from the night's scary winds, this day's rewarding and soothing.
