Ninoy Aquino would have been 76 this November 27th. Instead, Ninoy is 25, 18 and even 15 years old this year because thousands of young people, responding to the IAMNINOY campaign, have been inspired to become “Ninoys” in their own right.

Launched on the 25th anniversary of the assassination of opposition leader Sen. Benigno S. Aquino Jr., the IAMNINOY TV commercial features a compelling quick succession of young faces wearing Ninoy’s signature eyeglasses, and calls on Filipinos to do their part—stand up for what is right and what is good in big ways, in small ways and in their own ways—and be heroes.

To mark the birthday of Sen. Ninoy Aquino this week, the IAMNINOY campaign moves into high gear with the launch of the IAMNINOY television program on TV5. Popular tv personality Bianca Gonzales, one of the early “I Am Ninoy” volunteers, takes a journey to discover the new “Ninoys” and examine what motivates their selflessness.

IAMNINOY airs on TV5 on Tuesday nights immediately after “The Evening News”.

especially when she's performing (heard about She&him 'round two months ago,i think) well i won't forget her line sa Almost Famous 'you're free from mom'(was that hers..so much for 'not forgetting' hah!) well, aside from her voice, i'm digging her fashion sense! it's always inspiring to see 50's and 70's fashion revived by a quirky and fun person.. i dunno, there's just a different vibe,a good one. in a sea of skinnies and tights, seeing Zooey's style is refreshing. 'flower-child' meets 'children of the corn' hehe

Finally, i get to squeesh in some movietime in my so-called-life. Was directed by the Cohen Brothers..some of their films that i've seen so far(written or directed) are Fargo, No Country for old men and Big Lebowski. Not so crazy on this one, but John Malkovich was so effing cool! That's all i can say, since brother deary hasn't seen it yet..i don't wanna give away any info..like Brad Pitt was shot by George Clooney..OOOpppss! Next on list: Thank you for not smoking.

Absolutely loving the morning weather! the sun is at its brightest, and you can feel the christmas breeze:) If you're craving for that Baguio-feel, try re-living it by speading some Clara Ole Sugarfree Strawberry Jam on your toast for breakfast! Good for the waistline too (less than 50 cal per serving, ammana try the Orange marmalade next) Been eating fruits as well, and i'm feeling kinda good right now. Maybe it's just a prep coz im gonna binge come December:) Enjoy your effing day!

If you hit the buffet, then it's fast, but if you're gonna try the menu, it's the other way around! should try the Four Season Pizza though. you can ask the sever to omit the Seafood variety (if you hate any hint of it), kaya 3 seasons na lang hehe. Love the proscuitto! and pretty interiors, parang laruan:)

I wasn't Kevin Shields' inspiration when he wrote 'City Girl'.. I've been everywhere around the metro last week..and now i am nursing a cold, apart from the dagdag blemishes, i'm doing much better now, i think. sad face :( I do have a city gal bone,an eighth maybe, if Belle wants more than her provincial life, i think i'm totally fine with mine. I grew up in a nice neighborhood, promdi style (think: hear the magtataho in the morning..birds chirping, yes till now.less traffic.cleaner air, i guess.laid-back.simple life.tagaytay is just a drive away.kuliglig.) I was never a fan of the fast life, but i still wanna go to NYC..in a New York minute!

..the red walls of Piadina's Galleria, they say red kitchens make you wanna eat more,hmmmm. red walls or not, i sure did enjoy the roasted chicken and the arrabiata.
