paying homage to our father's roots, he started out as a tailor (mainly jeans ala VIKTOR and suits), owning a shop in old Calamba, Alabang and eventually branched out here in Balibago and retired round the mid 90s. still, he's known to many as Saplot. i practically grew up surrounded by jeans, the smell and all. i remember tagging along with my parents when its time to buy supplies in divisoria,fun! wait til i get to the scrap tales, i'm sure my playmates can still recall the bulak and cones that served as our playground (80s babies:)).

Thank you for the hearty Fili Beef and Grilled tomatoes!The beef sirloin's tenderness goes well with the crusty batard bread and i really enjoyed the pesto after-taste! it's now my Cafe Mary Grace favorite..alongside the lemon squares of course, which i'm at the stage of love-hate right now, i still can't bear the sourness, remember THIS? my brother and i had two orders though!:) his order of mushroom cream pasta screams home! yep, will be back for more, rrrrr.

i've had my share of gloss/balm-hunting, and Carmex put an end on it. This stick is a sure win formula to soothe chapped, dry lips (like mine) and is just perfect if you hate that i-just-ate-lechon look:)

Revlon's Colorstay mineral foundation on the other hand is just heaven sent. A little stroke goes a long way, and it won't give you a cake-y heavy feel when you have the powder on.+++ flawless coverage! and a must have if you wanna look like Halle Berry hehe (hmmm pde na ba ko mag-beauty review?:)) i'm still in search for the perfect blush and lipstick though.. but i guess a girl can't have just one right?
