i miss..

pony tailing my hair..the banat way! and i miss the migraines that goes with the tightness too:)

when i was younger, i'd spend long hours (exaggerating) just to have the perfect ponytail look, i'd buy the gooiest gel on earth that no strong wind can ruin my updo..it's like always prepping myself for the oscars! i guess my hair got used to it already, that i no longer use gel to secure the unwanted strands, plus my forehead is really showing..and shining in the most possible way. now i let my hair down more, i like this informal pony morer:)):

i have never ever in my life finished an order of halo-halo.. what more if the serving is as ginormous as this one! this lean,mean killing halo-halo from Pueblo por la Playa--Pagbilao, Quezon can be shared by four people (i'm not a big fan of melon shavings sa halo,so the verdict: eekk)

i can now make gulaman(from scratch..err with the help of mr.gulaman) at buko pandan!! take note:with littlest supervision from mom, but weee!!
a family friend gave us like a TON of fresh buko from Alaminos, so we thought of making buko pandan. i really liked the consistency of it(ehem bragging) i PATIENTLY blended the coconut meat to reach that almost sherbet smoothness but i left some buko meat bits too, ahh perfecto!

blue/black, blue/green, blue/brown? ahhh blue walls/white ceiling..minus the snow (final, period).i know, i know it looks greeky and geeky (?:) for a room but i'm loving the color combi, crossing my fingers it'll turn out good, at least kind of close to the look i've been opting for.


i also love the feel of shabby chic. so nice to look at, right? i wanted the ceiling to have the unfinished old-wood-look, but i guess shabby chic is much fitting on a colder, barn/rustic setting, and i think you have to live and breathe it, that's just not me, i just like looking at dried flowers, rusty pitchers, stuff..hmmm i think i know THE person who hearts shabby chic a lot, no not(brit accent) Rachel Ashwell..my sister.

is it done already?

it=summer? been cloudy and rainy these past few days and i haven't found my summer essentials yet! i'm still in search for::: the perfect maillot (the not so revealing kind:)), the perfect white v-neck shirt (lemme see if i can pull off that effortless-clean-chic look) and the perfect aviator (without shelling out on the pricey one:))

so please sun..stay a bit longer!! i wanna feel the grainy sand on my feet and have disheveled tangled hair and lounge all day, okay?

macarooning over colors!

i am having a love affair with couleurs..specifically the french macaroon palette..the brights are just refreshing to look at..the blues and the pinks give you that clean feel.very girly right? but i don't wanna be saccharine sweet by wearing every shade..just a hint of it..maybe an egg blue ring or mocha stilletos to add a bite on my basics.adieu!

thanks to my sister, she was the one who told me about this site a few weeks back. i truly, truly love the street style look ( i just can't pull it off:)), it's a whole different vibe and persona, and it's just amazing to look at people playfully mixing high street with high end without looking contrived and trying hard. easy breezy.

excluding the midday heat caused by mr.sun, sun, mr. golden sun and springing ahead by adjusting our clocks an hour forward (oh wait, i'm not from the U.S. hehe) i think we all love summer, right? good. apart from the out-of-town trips and mangga with bagoong..summer ain't complete without an ice cold something.in my case, Fuzion Smoothies. no amount of brain freeze can stop me from downing my strawberries and cream!

i first saw Fuzion in SM Baguio, but never got the chance to try their very berry good (for obvious reasons), so i tried one last night (trinoma branch) before heading to Thousand Cranes.well, i'm a huge fan of anything strawberry kaya got no reason to hate this one. smoooothh.
